I’m a highly sensitive introvert living my truth and inspiring those who dare, to live a more awakened life.
My HSP Journey
One of the defining characteristics that shape who I am is my sensory processing sensitivity.
I wanted to share my extraordinary journey of self-discovery as a Highly Sensitive Person to let other HSP’s know that you are not alone, and that we don’t have to conform to the ways of the overstimulated world!
The struggles of managing my energy levels, navigating through the overwhelming moments, and coping with times of feeling unwell have taught me that it's crucial to identify what drains and what energizes us. This self-awareness can tip the scale in our favor.
Having been through countless visits to the doctor over a span of a decade, only to be told that everything seemed fine, I understand how demoralizing it can be to feel alienated and isolated in the quest for health and inner peace. There are moments when you even begin to question if all your ailments might be in your head. This journey can be incredibly defeating, and it's made worse by the fact that the world often doesn't cater to highly sensitive individuals. Our nervous system isn't wired for constant stimulation and high performance; we need more breaks because we feel things and experience them more deeply, making us more susceptible to their effects.
By learning to trust my own intuition, I’ve discovered better ways to cope with the frazzling world. In sharing my experiences, I hope to offer you a shortcut to a more HSP friendly life too!
