Welcome! I'm Shannon, an introverted and highly sensitive person (HSP) on a journey of slow living and authentic self-discovery. My passion is to help others embrace their sensitivity as a strength and build a life filled with meaning and purpose.
Why I Created This Site
My own path began with a major pivot at 25: getting sober. Without alcohol to numb constant overstimulation, I had to rediscover who I was and build a new life from the ground up. This process taught me that true fulfillment wasn't about pushing through a life that didn't fit, but about prioritizing what truly mattered.
This site is my way of sharing the tools and mindset shifts that helped me transition from living on autopilot to living with intention. If you're ready to find a more peaceful and fulfilling way of living, I'm here to help you get started.

Do you struggle to keep your focus in loud, crowded places? Is hard to focus on one conversation at a time? Is it always too loud when you go to the movies? I stand behind these products with all my heart. I first tried their regular Calmer ear plugs but soon upgraded to the Calmer Night earplugs, as I found them more effective. They are great for more extreme noise such as live music venues and loud cinema theaters. However, to better focus on a conversation in loud public places I prefer the regular Calmer ear plugs, as they allow more sound to come through. The “Night’ Calmers tend to block too much of the conversation. I honestly never leave the house without them… They come in a handy little pouch that makes them easy to carry along wherever you go.
I also experimented with their Flare’s Sleep earplugs. I needed these when I went on a 5 week roadtrip through the US. They are the most amazing fit with maximum blockage of sound. They even make it bearable to sleep in the same room as a snorer! They are truly amazing for when you can’t control your environment and need to block it all out.
